Storm front
I was working my full time job on Sunday, June 8th, when we experienced some severe weather. One of the advantages of working at National Camera Exchange is that I have a great deal of equipment at my disposal. I grabbed a Nikon D200 and a Tokina 10-17mm fish eye zoom. I manged to get one decent exposure before the sky opened up and the rain poured. Later I converted the image to HDR in photoshop.

I’m really into producing moody, bittersweet portraits lately. Here are a couple of examples. I photographed them with a Fuji S3 pro. I used some actions that you can download for free from www.atncentral.com/.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
I just took a trip the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with an expert wildlife photographer named Mike Possis. I don’t get the opportunity to shoot wildlife to often. It was a real blast and Mike knows a lot about the natural world. I learned so much. Here’s a few of of the shots I got. Most of them were captured with the D2h. I really love the camera. It’s so responsive. As always comments are welcome.

Here’s a couple of shots I grabbed on a nature walk with my daughter. I used my D2h with a nikkor 80-400 VR.
Nothing special. Just a nice day!

I’m still testing my Nikon D2h and 24-120 VR. My wife just planted some flowers on the deck so I took advantage. The lens isn’t as sharp as my Tamron 17-50 2.8 but it’s a great focal length and the VR rocks. Here’s a few shots. Let me know what you think. As always the images are lightbox enabled. P.S. Myspace.

I just got these shots testing out my Nikon D2H. Lens used was an AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm VR. I think they’re pretty nice. What do you think? Click them for a larger view.
